Cow Appreciation Day ~ 2009

Posted by: Julie in

As EVERYONE knows, today was Cow Appreciation Day at
Chick Fil A!

No way were we going to miss all the fun.

Here is my "herd" getting ready to "chow down" on some
FREE chicken!

Hey, even Mom made it in this picture ;-)
Looks like we added 2 more cows to the herd.

The very nice Chick Fil A people not only gave us FREE food
but FREE balloons and FREE stuffed cows!

Here we are with those extra cows again.
One of the employees noticed the kids with their masks.
She rounded up the Chick Fil A Cows and asked if they could take a picture with the kids and their masks.
We had a great time. It was really fun to see all the different ways folks dressed up like cows.

Thank you Chick Fil A!

I love your pictures! Cute cows!

I am so interested in the fact that you are from the Upstate of SC!!! That is where I am FROM, but I now live in southwest GA. I was looking hard to see if I recognized the Chick Fil A you were visiting! Of course, the upstate of SC covers a lot of ground!

What ice cream place do you own?? Our favorite place for ice cream and/or coffee used to be Spill the Beans in downtown Greenville!

Come check out the pictures of my herd of cows!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! This is too neat, because I almost ask you if you were at the Cherrydale Chick-Fil-A!!!!!! That is definitely our old stomping grounds! I grew up on the east side of Greenville -- graduated from Eastside high school. Most recently, we lived in the Easley area -- off Saluda Dam Road. So, we were always driving back and forth to G'ville past Cherrydale!~! My oldest daughter graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg and my second oldest daughter just graduated from the Evangelical Institute. Do you know where that is? Off 276 on N. Parker Road? Probably not too far from you! And perhaps you know my friend, Heidi, who lives in TR way up the road next to NC??? Oh, this has been too much FUN! :)

I meant to apologize for reading too fast and jumping to the conclusion that you said Ice Cream when you really said ICE! I guess you can see where my mind is!!! LOL!

Also, I wanted to follow your blog -- but don't see a place to do that.
