Greenville Zoo
PostedToday was Hot Dog Day at the Greenville Zoo!
The kids got in the zoo for $1 and if you had a Bi Lo Bonus Card you got one child free. Because "D" is 2, he got in free, too. Yippee for reduced prices :-)
It was SO crowded! Once we got in, we decided to go through the zoo backwards. That way we missed lots of the crowd.
We had a great time seeing all the animals! Our zoo has a new exhibit ... Giraffes! I've never seen them before and they are SO beautiful! We saw monkeys of all types, lions, leopards, elephants, gators, snakes, birds, and in the petting zoo pigs, chickens and goats.
So many animals to see.
We had lunch at the zoo as well. They had hot dogs, chips, drinks and ice cream for $0.25 each. We each got 1 of everything and it cost $5.00. Talk about a cheap lunch ;-)
I took a few pictures. It was really hard to get pictures with the kids because of how many people were there. I got some good ones of the animals. Hope you enjoy looking at them.
